Unnecessarily breaking down my maskless Doctor design for my mutuals and anyone who's interested
Exactly what it says on tin.
Human disguise:
So, this fella (my husband)...
This is him without that intimidating mask.
I took inspiration from the fictional harpy mostly, but also from owls and the red-throated caracara.
For example, my Doctor does this thing that when he feels angry or threatened, his feathers will puff up and his eyes will appear smaller to look more intimidating, like some owls do (and multiple other species of birds).
And yes, he has a little beak piercing! :D
Speaking of his beak, it's mainly fractures, which leaves him with exposed teeth. It's rather sensitive.
This is just the torso. He has wings, yes, but they have been broken so badly that, despite having allegedly healed, he cannot use them... Or doesn't want to for multiple reasons.
His belly is actually exposed, with only a few small feathers growing there. His neck and head are also mainly bare, kind of like vultures.
About his color pallette... His feathers are mainly red, with black hues here and there. His beak is also a dark shade, though has some cyan hue at the end of it - similarly to his tail, which also has some cyan shading (yes, he has a tail!)
Monster form:
This was just his human disguise. His real, monstrous form is much taller and arguably creepier.
His neck is also longer, making him actually reach full 8'0 of height.
Comparison to Keir (OC): Human disguise VS monster
