Captain America:What are some things you believe in?
Vengeance, Equality, Freedom of Speech.
Iron Man:Ever had any epiphanies?
Lots. None that I can remember though.
Thor:Talk about your relationship with your family.
I'm the youngest child of 6. 3 brothers, two sisters. I'm the youngest by 10 years, so early on I lived with my siblings, then they all grew up and moved away so I lived pretty much as an only child. The older I get the more I learn just why my siblings moved so far away, and it's pushing me to do the same.
Hawkeye:Talk about a time you got a second chance
I had pretty given up theater which, for the longest time, was my passion. Years later I was recruited to play in a musical. I've been involved with my college's theater group since.
Black Widow:Tell a secret?
I don't have secrets.
Captain Marvel:Are you the recipient of a legacy?
Only the legacy of my former self. I hid away for a lot of years and a lot of people expect me to live up to my old reputation.
Ms. Marvel:Talk about something new you're doing.
Playing computer games. I've always loved video games but loathed playing on PC. I really need a playstation controller in order to play comfortably, but I've been playing civilization 5 lately on my laptop.
She-Hulk:What keeps you busy?
School, Theater, and Games. I have two classes this quarter but they are both very homework-heavy. Along with that, I'm the V.P. of my school's drama club, and that keeps me working on a lot of projects and memorizing lines. Then of course there's video games.
Hulk:How do you feel about being alone?
I like it quite often. I love being in crowds, especially when I'm the center of attention, but even though I love it, I always need a break from it. I can spend weeks at a time holed up in my room and be perfectly fine.
Luke Cage:Talk about when you've been treated unfairly, on a small or large scale.
When I was in high school I had a pretty big reputation as a trouble maker. Because of that, school officials would always immediately assume any event that was possibly tied to me was my fault. I understood that, but it happened so many times that I was held responsible for things I didn't have anything to do with.
Black Panther:How do you feel about your country?
It's hard for me to say. I see things in the news about human rights and it makes me happy and proud, but I also see so many people displaying their intolerance and ignorance. Standing from this area, I'm surrounded by a lot of that, and I'm in an area that really isn't the greatest in a lot of fields. I hear it's better elsewhere, so I can't judge to badly.
Black Cat:Do you have a code of ethics?
Own up to your actions.
Daredevil:What is something others see as a weakness, but you know to be a strength?
Tolerance and Patience
Doctor Strange:Talk about a moment your life changed paths.
When I tried to kill myself, most everyone I knew denounced me and left me on my own. I had to start over in a big way. It took a while but I was able to adjust.
Cyclops:What do you worry about?
I worry that I won't be happy in the long run. I set up these hopes and plans but I can't find myself accepting that they'll surely come true. It's hard to picture a happy ending, though I do hope for one.
Jean Grey:What is something about yourself you can't control?
My depression.
Storm:What do people look up to you for?
I've been told that people admire my patience, wisdom, and acting skills.
Rogue:What makes it hard for people to get close to you?
My bitterness, offensive vocabulary, my apathy for some things and obsession for others.
Shadowcat:Talk about growing up.
I was the kid who wanted to make his parents proud. That extended to wanting to make my teachers proud. But at a parent-teacher conference in primary school I overheard my teacher express concerns about my lack of social skills. See, because I wanted to make my teacher proud, I dove straight in to education. I had no interest in the other kids and would actively shush and berate them for making noise when I was trying to pay attention. But hearing my teacher say that she was concerned sent me to the conclusion that "good students" are both academic and social. So I treated socializing like it was any other assignment. I wrote down other kids' reactions to jokes like they were the results of an experiment. Eventually it paid off and I became one of the most popular students in my school. As my love for that popularity grew, my interest in academics shrank. Not to mention that Each year it seemed that we were just repeating the same lessons that I had already learned. Soon enough I became completely disinterested in education and became a socially focused kid.
Beast:Favorite book?
The Count of Monte Cristo
Nightcrawler:Religious beliefs?
John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 13:13
Scarlet Witch:What things have you broken?
Relationships.
Quicksilver:Who do you feel protective toward?
Katie, Remi, Sam, and Brett.
Wolverine:What are things you regret?
Putting so much importance on things that really didn't deserve it. Not being honest about how I felt. Refusing to take chances.
Mr. Fantastic:How controlling can you be?
I can be really controlling if the situation is right. If I'm directing, of course I'm controlling. In most other instances though, I'm pretty laid back.
Invisible Woman:Talk about a process of finding your identity.
For a while I was really unsure about who I was. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if I was really my own person or if I was just a compilation of the people that others wanted me to be. Eventually I decided I was both, and then I moved on from that to become who I wanted to be.
Human Torch:Can people take you seriously?
Sometimes, but not often.
Thing:Your body-- what are you insecure about? What do you love?
I love my hair. Hate everything else.
Black Bolt:What don't you ever do?
Smoke
Silver Surfer:(Where?) do you want to wander?
Space. I want to be Silver Surfer.
I have longed for the peace of your love for so long.
In regards to your post about the 'Break Free' video: They aren't just a thin white person, they are actual genderqueer Australian model Ruby Rose. Ruby made that video to help them come out as genderqueer a week after it was released. They were quoted as saying "I am very gender fluid and feel more like I wake up every day sort of gender neutral." Just thought that might help clear things up maybe?
Yeah I know who Ruby Rose is and I think that’s all well and good for them! But it’s this veneration from some members of the queer community that gets me, and this idea of “gender neutral” being AFAB, masculine, thin, and white. People are reblogging that post like we’ve never seen anything like it before, like it’s not the primary representation of the queer community (or, at least, the primary representation of what should be seen as desirable in the queer community).
We see this sort of thing literally all the time and my comment was directed at those people who talk about it like it’s the coolest and most radical thing ever.
Books!
imnotthatgirl tagged me in a thing, so....
rules: in a text post, list 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard - they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. tag 10 friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!
I'm only going to do 5 because 10 is a lot and i have loads of hmwk I should be doing... :P
1. How I Live Now, by Meg Rosoff. One of my favorite books of all time. I'm not quite sure how it changed me, but it did.
2. Looking for Alaska, by John Green. Another of my favorite books (I have 3 in total). I keep a tally in the front cover of this one of how many times I've read it, and my copy is totally battered by now, but I still love it.
3. The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern. Spooky, chilling, and ethereal, this books is an oddity. Most of the chapters further the plot, but every now and then a short one places the reader inside the circus via 2nd person writing. It's seriously amazing, and based on the historical Night Circus that actually existed, which makes it even cooler. The third of my 3 favorite books.
4. Welcome to the Ark, by Stephanie S. Tolan. This one I read for the first time ages ago, probably 6th grade or so, but it's always stuck with me and earned a place on my bookshelf. I don't know, i just like the fine line the narrative examines.
5. Divergent, by Veronica Roth. Nothing unheard of, I know, but it just sort of hangs around in my head. I suppose I feel sometimes like I was born in Abnegation, and can't wait to get to choose for myself.
None of my 5 were that profound, and most of them ended up being teenager-aimed books, but I promise, I do read books meant for adults--apparently they just don't stick with me as well. I'll tag 5 people, since I did 5 books. Have fun guys!

Rule 1: Always post the rules.
Rule 2: Answer the questions of the person who tagged you and write 11 new ones.
Rule 3: Tag 11 new people and tag them to the post.
Rule 4: Let them know you tagged them.
1. Do you have a favourite book/ movie? If so what is it and why. Favourite book is hard, because I always just want to say Harry Potter. But if it isn't a series then I'd say Gone With The Wind. I just find it an amazing story, I got so into it, just loved everything about it. For favourite movie I'd say probably Phantom of the Opera or Sweeney Todd, I'm not sure I could choose between those two.
2. If you could travel to anywhere in the world where would you go? Right now I really really want to go to Italy, everywhere in Italy!
3. When you look back on your life, would there be anything that you would want to change? I wish when I was younger I'd involved myself in more team sports and stuck with the ones I was in.
4. Do you believe in luck? Not really, no. It's something I say when something good happens to someone, but I don't actually believe in it.
5. Would you ever consider living miles away from anyone that you know for a better future for yourself? For sure! I'd miss my family terribly, but I sort of want to move somewhere really far away at some point in my life.
6. What was your favourite childhood show? I had a brother seven years older than me, so we usually watched The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, even when I was really quite young. I also loved Sailor Moon, I even convinced my best friend I was her...
7. Do you think that you could think of 11 questions? They might be really sucky questions, but I'll figure it out.
8. Do you have any pets? No, but two cats live on the same property as us so I guess sort of.
9. What’s your favourite food? This is a really hard question because I love food. Maybe fish, or pasta.
10. Did you ever have a crush on an animated character? I had the biggest crush on Darian/Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon.
11. What was one of your favourite memories? We used to have this tree in our yard that I used to go climb up when I was really young and just sit up there for a long time, and I could see the whole neighbourhood. I loooved climbing it and being alone for a bit. My Questions:
1. How long have you spent on tumblr so far today? 2. How many of these posts have you been tagged in so far? 3. Do you have a dream car or dream house? (if so describe at least one) 4. Favourite school subject? 5. How many email accounts have you had in your entire life, and how many of them do you still use? 6. Which celebrity would you most want to be cuddling right now? 7. Which fictional world would you most want to be a part of? 8. What's your dream job? 9. Favourite Pixar movie? 10. Last person you hugged? 11. What are you going to do after you finish answering these questions/posting this?
