C-SPAN Video Competition?
So C-SPAN holds this documentary competition for middle and high school students.
The winners get scholarship money.
The only problem is that the video is due on January 20, 2012. Which is 12 days from now.
Should I still do it?
I get to indulge into the world of documentary-making.
More time with the camera.
AND it's scholarship money. Money towards college. Which is always good. Not to mention there are like...20 monetary prizes that they give out. So there is a chance.
But the time....and I'm looking at some of these entries and wow. Some kids TRAVEL to DC just to interview some of these people. Holy cow. I don't have time FOR THAT. My parents would never let me do that either.
