Red scripts = conformitygate proof?
Bear with me, this is a longer post. The beginning might not be that relevant, but it shows that there are already some inconsistencies with the scripts.
For the table read of the first three episodes, Finn wasn't there. But he is on the photo from the "production has started" post. It is clearly the same day, as Noah, Priah, Millie and Gaten are wearing the same clothes in the photo and in the table read sequence (I mention those because they have the outfits that stand out the most - although Noah is the only one you can really tell based on these pictures)
(and sure, Finn could have arrived later in the day or been there the whole time but just off-screen because of being sick or something idk).
"This is the first time the cast has seen the script."
Either that was a lie, or for some reason they did two table reads of the first three episodes (cause Finn is sitting with his manuscript on the first picture, which we've established is the same day as the first table read). Is it that important? No, but I found it interesting
I'm so curious about the timeline of E08 table read - was this truly the real manuscript? And is it the real sound, or have they put the (potential) fake finale's lines and descriptions over the video in post? (so they're reacting to something else?)
Charlie Heaton saying that he sat across from Finn and Noah (and them crying 20 minutes into the table read) does actually seem to line up. They're just not sitting directly next to eachother, which a lot of us had probably assumed.
The wording makes it seem like the red script is because it's unfinished, but in most scenes with the red script, there seems to be at least one white script visible as well. And this includes scenes from the finale, so I doubt that that's the reason?
Red (and white) script spottings
The ONLY scenes I could spot red scripts ONLY, were the epilogue scenes. The D&D dungeon (aka the last scene they filmed) in particular. Everywhere else, there's been at least one person with a white script visible
I'm honestly very unsure about these two white papers, but I decided to include them anyway. But that scene is from the finale, so the absence of white scripts would make sense if most of the Abyss stuff is different? Idk.
Looking at the name of the script(s) on the computer is really interestng.
"508 - WHITE" On the actual page
"508 - Pink Collated" On the Window the page is opened at
"S5_EP508" On the name of the document behind the opened window
"We are shooting episode 8, which isn't completely written yet", "Episode 8 is red. Red for red alert", only red scripts on set for last day of shooting (epilogue scene)... Signs are pointing to red scripts being conformitygate
Based on the fact that pink is a mix between white and red, and collated meaning combined/collected in correct order (I had to google the meaning, and the definitions differed a little on each site, but they all mentioned that it's a collection of papers that are arranged in a way - either to compare or assemble correctly idk), I'm gonna assume this is the version that has the scenes that are in both episodes (the real finale/what actually happened) or is a collection of the scenes differing from eachother (even if they are only small changes. Just highlighting the difference in mike's vision and the actual outcome)
Idk, to me, this might be the strongest proof of more content coming. Why else would they be walking around with red scripts on the last day of shooting?
Red scripts = fake finale?
