Her instincts were telling her to run, or rather swim, however she managed to convince herself that a simple answer wouldn’t hurt.

Some Character Questions for y’all

Q8. What were their dominant character traits as a child? Have they changed between childhood and now?

Val as a kid used to be far more aggressive and angry than she is nowadays. She never really went out of her way to try and fight someone, but it was more common for her to take complete action over even the smallest things. She also was a lot more elusive so that she’d be able to steal food without anyone noticing 

Q14. What are your character’s least favourite things about themselves? (list at least 2)

Her compulsive lying has been a problem for her. She doesn’t really mean to, that’s just how she was growing up. You’ll never get her to admit it, but she occasionally really hates her blindness which is usually spurned on by not being able to appreciate the look of a certain object.

Q16. What are your character’s hobbies?

She does a lot of gardening in her spare time. She’s found that it’s super calming for her to be around nature for extended periods of time.

Q18. How does your character react under high pressure?

She’ll definitely get the job done for sure, just don’t expect her to be the best mood. The sooner the pressure is off for her, the better.

8…getting sick (a cold, flu, etc.)

Val will most likely hole herself up in her room until the cold passes, since there’s not much she can do with fluctuating senses. She does have the capacity to make a ‘cure all’ potion that would have her feeling right as rain, however she either forgets to or doesn’t feel like using the resources on one.

Val was never really ‘learned’ how to mourn, however it can be simple to see if she was upset by something. You’ll find that she will either sit in one place for long periods of times staring off into space or intensely working in her garden. If confronted or interrupted while she ‘grieves’, she would more than likely walk away from the scene.
