Major League Baseball announced it has suspended Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer for two years, for violation of the league's domestic violence and sexual assault policy, which Bauer has consistently denied.

Dodgers Pitcher Receives Good News after Health Concern

Kirk McCormick currently serves as the executive pastor at Royal Palm Church (RPC) in Lake Worth, Florida, where he has significantly increased attendance since he joined the church in 2013. Outside of his duties with RPC, Kirk McCormick enjoys following sports and supports the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Florida State University. The Dodgers recently announced that pitcher Kenley Jansen received positive news after an X-ray revealed a growth in his foot. By performing a follow-up MRI, medical professionals determined that the growth was not life threatening, but they stated that the fluid that had moved into the bone could gradually weaken and damage the bone if Jansen kept pitching without treatment. With this diagnosis and his increasing discomfort, Jansen decided to undergo surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to remove the growth. Jansen’s doctors report that the issue shouldn’t resurface and Jansen will engage in a conditioning program after five days in a boot. Although Jansen doesn’t expect to miss too much playing time, the Dodgers may have to obtain another closer depending on the results of Spring Training.
