Anyone been spending their free time on a deserted island with your cute animal pals the last few days? I know I have!
I’m a veteran, as are most, but I thought I’d share my few tips for the newbies or anyone who was just interested!
• First search up dodoairlines . com in your browser. This little website is too cute not to pass up as you start your island adventure.
• Everytime you hit over 10k bells, put the difference in your savings. So if you end up with 13,457 bells, deposit 3,457 into your account. This has been my tried and true method to paying off Tom fast.
• Spend your Nook Points on that inventory expansion first.
• When you visit random islands, empty your pockets to only the essential tools. Then raze it. Literally clean the island and fit EVERYTHING you can pick up into your pocket. Not only does this give you Nook Points, but it gives you serious bells.
• Checking out islands after 7 pm gives you great chances at finding tarantulas which are about 8k bells each.
• Always put your axe and net next to each other for quick wasp control.
• If you find that shiny spot on the ground, and dig up the 1,000 bells, plant it back in that same shiny spot. Trust me.
• Craft your weeds into umbrellas before you sell them. It’s a few bells difference, especially when you come back from island hopping.
