Huh. My Pottermore house is Ravenclaw, my wand is ash, 14 1/4 inches, with a unicorn hair core, and not flexible. All this I knew from when I played Pottermore back in the day, and none of it was surprising to me. (Ravenclaw I’ve mentioned, and ash wands, as they say, are for the stubborn, and I am that. And unicorn hair is for both the faithful and the melancholy, and, well.)

But I just took the patronus quiz and it made my patronus... a doe. I was not expecting that. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but not that. And it says that my patronus is rare--which, for all I know, it tells everyone that their patronus is rare, but still, interesting. Doe was, of course, Snape’s patronus too--but as I recall it was Lily’s first, and while I am not the biggest fan of Snape, I do feel quite fondly about Lily.

(The Ilvermorny house quiz makes me a Thunderbird, but I do not know enough about Ilvermorny to have an opinion on that--and of course the issues with Ilvermorny houses in general has been amply discussed elsewhere.)
