not to be like. obsessed or nothing but i just watched the making of Faceless and im freaking out a little

worthikids might be a genius in sound design and sountracking and how it adds to the story he tries to tell.

like maybe its just me because im not great at soundtracking or sound effects or even composition, but the way he just. knows. what kind of music he wants to play in a given scene or situation. and he just. does it. and its awesome. like he knows that silence is sometimes funnier than sound, or that less can be more. i have no clue how he does it. its magic to me. god i cant wait for the sountrack to come out

and it tickles me how he interprets the cesdoc™️ scene and YES i know it wasnt meant to be gay so lets put that aside for a second. HE CALLED IT THE INDOMITABLE HUMAN SPIRIT!! LIKE YES!! CALIGARI DIDNT EXPECT THAT CESARE WOULD BREAK FREE BECAUSE HE THOUGHT HE WAS IN CONTROL!! its like when you 100% think youre gonna make a jump because you think you know your momentum and then you miss and fall on your ass instead. caligari wasnt weak, but he gave himself a weakness by assuming that he was 100% in control.

and its SO COOL that caligari was subtly puppeteering cesare. cesare is the puppet maker, but caligari is the puppeteer. and the puppeteer might have more power over the puppetmaker when it comes to who actually controls the puppets, but the puppeteer is powerless if the puppet stops being afraid of him. and its brilliant im literally losing hair over this

yeah of course liam looks fine as the witcher, he has the hair and armor, and it's not like henry cavill was a clone of game!geralt or his book description, but i still have a thing that bothers me, and it's how baby-faced liam is compared to what geralt is like. cavill was okayish cause he looks a bit older than he is, but even with him i thought he looked too young. like, geralt isn't some thirty-two year old, he's much older and, unlike sorceresses, witchers still do age, just look at vesemir!

like yeah liam looks fine and i have no reason to think he'll be bad at it but like. this is the 25 year old playing a 50 year old dude's 40yo housewife, genderbend edition.
