So does Stefan want Bon’s forgiveness for himself, or does he want it for her own sake? Cause it seems to me if Stefan were forgiven to every little thing he’s done, he would just be the same ripper Stefan as before only more human...he would just go back to the terrible things he did and wait for the guilt to set in so he’d do this all over again. From my view Stefan wants the world to see him as the white knight, and them knowing all the terrible things he’s done they can’t, so he’s trying to erase those memories so he can covertly be the black knight again.
