TrackR Bravo Review - A Look At This Tracking Device

It is designed and created by the company ‘TrackR’ which is a California based startup company. This company was co-Founded by Chris Herbert and Christian Smith and over the last few years has seen tremendous growth.
How Did The TrackR Bravo Device Came About?
Most successful products are normally started due to someone’s personal inconvenience. This device is no different.
The TrackR Bravo Tracking Device was a result of Chris’ misfortune when he almost lost his car keys. Maybe he was thinking at the time - if only I had something to track where I last place my keys, I could find it in an instant. And before you know it, TrackR was the end product of that thought.
What Exactly Is TrackR Bravo?
TrackR Bravo is a coin-sized tracker. It pretty much about the size of a quarter and can be placed wallets, attached to key-rings and it even has a sticking pad so that you can attach it to your other valuables. When it comes to your phone though, it can be used two ways. This means you can use the device to track your phone if you left your phone or use your phone to track where the device is. In fact, the device will ring your phone even if its in silent mode. Awesome right?

How Does TrackR Bravo Work?
In order for this tracking device to work properly, you’ll need to first download and install the app from the app store. Both Google Play an Itunes carries the app for both Android and Apple phones.
Once you install, the app, you’ll then need to pair it with the device via bluetooth. With that being said, you’ll need to have your bluetooth on at all times for the tracking system to function.
TrackR tracking device also has a Crowd GPS feature. This feature is designed to help you find lost items that are out of Bluetooth range but using someone else’s phone who have installed the TrackR app.
The battery is replaceable and can lasts up to one year. It can tracks up to a maximum of 10 devices. Most of all, It works worldwide. The following are the Pros and Cons of TrackR Bravo:
Pros
- Easy storage. It can easily be stored even inside the wallet.
- Battery is replaceable. Battery can be used after a year. After battery has worn out, then can easily be replaced. It uses CF 1620 battery.
- Has Water Resistant Case. It has a case that is waterproof.
- Has metal carabiner for a more durable carbiner.
- Has a last seen location. Easier to find where you have left your valuable.
- Status label as Near or Far or Close. Finding is easier as it will say if TrackR Bravo is in range. Near if it is in range. Far if it is still out of range. Close if it is nearer.
Cons
- Not Waterproof. You cannot leave it anywhere. Have to keep it always in a dry place.
- Low Volume Ringer. It can be heard if room is quiet. But not loud enough if in a noisy environment.
- Price is dependent on who is the seller. Amazon offers it with warranty. Choose which one you value. You can buy it from other sellers. But it is advisable to compare prices before buying.
- Only available in four colors. Black, Rose Blue, Blue or Steel. These four colors can be loved by anyone. But others prefer it in different colors.
