Philly Grub
Little known fact: I love Philly cheesesteaks. I’ve never had the pleasure of having an “authentic” one from the birthplace of the immortal Will Smith. I’ve had to settle for less than epic versions of them in Miami.
...That all changed today.
I ventured into a new spot in Miami: Philly Grub. Located in the Little Haiti area of Miami, this no frills establishment boasts amazing cheesesteaks and other Philly dining staples. I decided to try it out for myself. I strolled in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the original Philly with provolone, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. What I got blew my expectations. The pillow soft roll provided by Amoroso, tender meat with the provolone filling in the gaps, and the fresh grilled veggies completing the package.
Gone are the days of ordering a cheese and steak at Subway.
