funny how lately my two strongest kin shifts are flamboyant, violent villains
i don't plan on running around murdering anyone or taking over the world but the energy i had as them has still carried over.
i dunno how to explain it in words, it's like this intangible feeling i get when i think about usami or doffy. i get it with all my kintypes! but with these two it's... weird i guess. not sure if i should be worried or not that my strongest shift right now is a masochistic, bloodthirsty soldier who would lay his life on the line for a superior officer that is, somehow, more insane than he is?
oh well! i like being usami. and i like being doflamingo, too. it's nice to be the good guy but... sometimes you just aren't. :3c
i’ve noticed something that follows me from life to life is this sense of intense devotion. i gravitate towards a cause and dedicate my entire life to it. it fluctuates from being a healthy sense of devotion to an unhealthy obsession in different lives and i understand why that is, but it’s interesting to notice.
as luffy, i was devoted to being free, to being the pirate king, to being the man who could go anywhere he wanted.
as josuke, i was devoted to keeping the people i loved safe. and i was so, so devoted to rohan.
as luke, i was devoted to the force.
as doffy, i was devoted to my family. rosi, and then law, and then the strawhats, and-- you get it.
as usami, obviously, i was dedicated to tsurumi.
as shiraishi... i’m not sure what i had, when i was younger. i was devoted to freedom, in a sense, for a long time. breaking out of prison, getting caught, breaking out again. i felt lost for a long time, since i didn’t really have anything to do other than go back to prison. i think that meeting asirpa and sugimoto really did something, though -- after asirpa had me help her, i realized i wanted to devote myself to them. i wasn’t much help in that life, at least not physically, but i think i provided a little extra heart in our small family. if that was all i could do, i was happy to do it.
i dunno. i’ve got more kintypes and more devotions i remember, but these are the big ones for now. i’ve just consistently found a cause or a person or an ideal and put my life on the line for it.
for the record. sandy mouth bad
i added doffy sunglasses to my icon whoops
current mood
my name is donquixote doflamingo and i love and adore rosinante with all my too-big heart
me, doffy: crawls under the table n gets my clothes all dirty and freaks myself out a little bit just 2 save a little cricket boy and put him outside
also me, doffy: doflamingo isn’t a good person :) he thinks he’s evil and damned :)
