Bonding of a Dog and a man that charming you!
Accidentally have created a daily bonding time with my dog over taking our vitamins. She used to not like taking hers until she saw me power through mine and since we apparently bond over food I started asking if she wants her own too. She just takes a cosequin tablet while I take a host of others because picky eater and food restrictions. I call her a good girl and we move on with our day. I ran out of her vitamins the other day and didn't realize how much that moment meant to her until she kept getting mad at me for taking my vitamins and not giving her her own. I don't know if any of you have ever had a senior cocker spaniel, but she's 10 and once they get to double digits the stubborn old person personality comes out and so do the strong opinions. Lola would keep finding ways to be petty and stubborn until I bought more of her vitamins when I got more of mine too. 🙃
As a side not cosequin is helpful for older dogs especially with breeds like cocker spaniels who are prone to joint problems as they age. Even more so when they still think they're a puppy. Lola recently pulled a leg muscle pooping too hard and now I have to remind her to walk it out if she's just having one of those days. In all fairness with my terrible genetics I too cramped a muscle while on the toilet. Unlike her though I can't really walk it out. 😆

Ivan Escapes…
After I let him off leash, he danced a bit. Then he bolted around the corner… Ten seconds later he returned–the escape was over. Took Ivan to the beach yesterday to “test” our bond. He’s a runaway dog that we rescued last year. If I let him off leash, will he return? The photos tell the story. Note: This training took place at high tide–most of the beach was underwater. There were no people…
