Dog Licenses Available July 15 in Coney Island!

Make sure your furry friend has a dog license. It’s the law!

The New York City Health Code requires that dog owners attach a license tag to their dog’s collar while in public. Dog owners may be fined for violation of these laws.

A dog license costs $8.50 per year for spayed or neutered dogs or $34 per year for non-spayed or neutered dogs. Dog licenses may be purchased or renewed for one to five years. All dog license fees are non-refundable.

You can apply for a New York City dog license or renew an existing license online. You can also download the application and instructions or call 311 to request to have a paper copy mailed to you.

We are hosting a dog licensing event this Sunday in Coney Island:

Sunday, July 15

Location: MCU Park, 1904 Surf Ave., Brooklyn

Time: 1:30 - 5 p.m.

Notes: All major credit cards, debit cards, money orders and checks are accepted. Cash is not accepted.
