Pretty Lavinia by American Murder Song
There is just something about murder songs, isn’t there? This one is apparently based on an actual person who lived and committed crimes in the 1800s, Lavinia Fisher, though whether she actually ever killed anyone is under dispute.
Back to the song, though: I love the cheerful but ever so slightly discordant melody here. It really amplifies the creepiness. And the “sing-along” section is an amazing addition.

If you go into ANY shelter and look at the dogs you will see a MAJORITY of them are pits and chihuahuas. Â Many communities have programs that help owners spay or neuter these breeds of dogs trying to help reduce the number of them that end up in shelters.
The SPCA of Solano County decided that we had to do something.  So here we go…
