Hi can we talk about Joe because that man deserved so much better ;_;

JOE IS A FUCKING FASCINATING CHARACTER IN MIDNIGHT MASS. he's clearly meant to be a polar opposite to riley when it comes to the destructive alcoholism, but he gets the closure and forgiveness that riley doesn't get until the very end. and he, in general, is just a rlly interesting character when you're able to look at alcoholism as an addiction (as it is). you're given riley, someone who does something terrible but the narrative says that he's improving, he's doing better, he's not a bad person. but then you're given joe, also an alcoholic who has done horrible things and is trying to get better, but he's painted completely different by the narrative. ITS FASCINATING I DONT THINK PPL REALIZE WHAT A FOIL TO RILEY HE IS. UGH.

Honestly, i don't know. Like, there are song si consider really good (Well Better Than The Alternative by Will Wood, Zombie by the Cranberries (with a special mention for the Bad Wolves cover as well) and some others that I'm blanking on rn) but i don't know what would make a perfect song

I have nine piercings in right now and i cannot have those out because they mean a lot to me. I also have my seven rings that i basically never take off though i have less of an emotional attachment to them.

Honestly though, my chainmail bracelet with the key to my partner's chastity cage on it feels the most noticeable when it's gone

I'm getting a tattoo soon! I'm so happy I've been wanting to for years (it's a dragon curve, I'm getting it in two weeks). Also i finally got out of student housing and I've been living with my partner for the last few months and i love it so much. They're so amazing and I'm so glad i finally found a relationship that's actually good for me
