Another caricature of myself, this time as a dogface! I was aware of Goof Troop growing up, and A Goofy Movie is actually one of my favourite Disney flicks.
...Gawrsh, I can just see the episode where I show up. So, we open with tech support grumbling the above. Then they get a call.
Pete’s TV is broken (something that should be simple but never is because if the customer’s calling in about it they are probably hopeless, like a snowy screen or being tuned into a test channel that you can tune away from), and he calls in being, uh, Pete with a few cuts to an unimpressed tech support. Then, Goofy comes over and declares that By Golly He’s A-Gonna Fix Your TV In A Jiffy, Pete Ol’ Buddy.
Cue increasingly damaging ‘fixes’ with periodic cuts to an increasingly fascinated tech support listening to the mayhem. Finally, we hear an explosion through the phone that they have to take their headset off for, and when they put it back on, Peg’s picked up going, “Hello? Hello, tech support, hello?”
“I’m... here,” says a very perplexed tech support.
“Uhhhh yeah we did take out the insurance on our electronics, right?”
Womp-womp sting with tech support’s blank expression, roll end credits.
