I’ve learned that one of the fastest ways to recognize hot spots in dogs is by paying close attention to sudden changes in their behavior especially excessive licking, scratching, or biting at a specific area.

It’s that season to start getting back on the trails, outdoors and open windows. Our girl was paying attention to an area that was bothering her and I found a spider bite that was slightly infected. I pulled out her personal First Aid Kit from @adventuremedicalkits, cleaned out the infection, covered it and got her smiling again. I’ve always supported first aid training and having a first aid kit on hand, if you have a pet, it’s a good idea to have one for them or extra supplies geared towards them. I also figured with everything going on, everyone could use a smile like that to brighten their day.
