September is Emergency Preparedness Month and topic is food preparations and storage. It’s recommended to have at least 10 days and up to 30 days worth of food, can meats, soups, seasonings, comfort items including coffee, tea, honey etc. to make life easier after an earthquake, power outage, food shortages and mad reactionary rushes to the stores by the unprepared. Stuff that will survive a power outage. Leading up the the early days of the virus in 2019 and 2020, I saw the writing in the wall and stocked up before they started talking about shutting things down. This paired with hitting farms and ranches for our food kept us out of the stores avoiding the mass panic shopping we saw last year. With any items you stock up on, FIFO (First In First Out) rotating older items to the front and newer items to the back. If you’re getting close to an expiration date, use it, give to family members, friends or donate it so it doesn’t have go to waste. In the last picture, is a hotly debated subject of storing alcohol. I enjoy a drink here and there so stocking up on liquor for the occasional drink, using it for cooking, medicinal (in some cases) and bartering can come in handy. I don’t drink like I used to so it’s sitting there. If you are in flood zones, try to keep preparations above the known flood levels. If you’re in tornado prone areas, store some essentials in a storm shelter, basement or cellar if you have one. What’s your go to prep item? Mine is coffee and peanut butter. #bushcraftandprepping #prepper #prepping #preparedness #pantry #emergencypreparedness #liquor #foodpantry #liquorcabinet #earthquake #earthquakes #naturaldisaster #naturaldisasters #emergencypreparednessmonth #nationalemergencypreparednessmonth #food #foodie #areyouready #coffeeaddict #selfreliance #selfreliant https://www.instagram.com/p/CigPTq2vqma/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I’ve used this logo for a many years now and was debating on making stickers and patches, possibly T-shirts down the road. I know if I do, have to come up with more of a art rendering so it’s easier to produce on patches, stickers and silk screening for shirts or hoodies. Anyone have ideas on if I should go with it for conventions, events and possibly selling, give away events etc.? Start over with a logo from scratch? Would love to hear everyone’s input from the positive, negative and any suggestions. I have a convention I’m attending in January so playing around with the idea.
