im seeing therians getting traction in the worst way online currently. everyone is suddenly making content hating on what i believe to be minors just indulging in a fun hobby, getting connected with nature and exploring their identity.

like, we have people in power in criminal files and a terrorist organization breaking families, we have bigger problems to address.

omfg i didn’t even realize it was this bad. i dont know how it is in english speaking countries but over where i live theres a moral panic over therians.

i went to work and my coworker told me that our manager, a middle aged woman, asked her what furries and therians were.

then when i got back home my mom just started saying that i shouldn’t even dare to become one. im just like “what is even going on thats getting such a small niche group in so much attention??”

my mom said that therians are satanic, that they are in the bible and are proof the world is ending (this is normal she has been like this for a while) and said that therians are attacking people. i told my mom to show me anything involving the therians cuz i really wasnt aware of anything going on only to show me ai videos, staged performances of people claiming to be therians while misbehaving or acting like they have no basic ethic and people spewing hate on them.

im just… why is this even happening??? i swear even furries never been in the public eye like this and they were always present everywhere.

i feel so bad for the community and people cause i truly believe this is an attempt to put the attention to a small group of people and shame them while ignoring epstein files and ice raids.

im so sorry this is even happening.
