Me and my fam are probably going to adopt a dog soon, anyone have any hints and tips and just general advice in terms of adopting a dog? I'm going to be the main carer so I'm essentially shitting myself and would like some help lol

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

We’ve raised £333 so far for Dogs Trust on behalf of Emily Bett Rickards! 

So far, we’ve managed to sponsor 6 incredible dogs for a whole year to make sure that rescue dogs who need a little extra care before going to new homes are able to be safe, happy and loved as long as needed.

The fundraiser is remaining open until 6th May which means there are 10 DAYS LEFT to get any donations in! This enables time to get all donations cleared and allow the 10 days for the sponsorships to arrive in time.

Emily’s going to get a folder with certificates for each dog so she can see all the hard work that goes into caring for them, and a list of all donors, and I’m going to be giving her this as a gift at HVFF London next month - I’m so excited to get to show her this and give her this gift, and even more excited about the amazing dogs that are getting help that they need thanks to the generosity of this fandom and Emily’s fans!
