I literally can’t. I always just went to a shop and had them do it. They’d usually do it free, but I’d tip a couple bucks.
Even just in my hands I can only get the bead to snap in maybe one time out of three, probably more like one time in five or even one in ten. And they’re not even heavy, just 18g! Ugh.
If anybody else who has problems with their hands could recommend ring jewelry, that would be cool. I just bought these in the hopes that they’ll be easier for me to handle, but who the fuck knows. The ideal would be something that screws in, or that snaps closed without needing the ring to be deformed out of shape (e.g.).
