yenna! i was wondering if you have any favorite poems in chinese? (modern poetry too!) or maybe poetry collections? since you seem to have more of a traditional background to learning poetry than me (my current approach is just doing deep dives on baidu lol) i thought i'd ask! hope ur having a lovely day!

ah the only poetry collections i own are the ones my mum bought me when i was little as a way to make me learn mandarin lol so ur baidu deep dives are probs more interesting !! like. my fave poems are very boring, just the ones u'd find on a site like 'top 5 poems every chinese kid knows' rip but i like these ones (they're all v short): 春晓 by meng hao ran (the line 处处闻啼鸟 is just so inexplicably satisfying to me) , 咏鹅 by luo bin wang (bc he wrote it when he was 7 apparently which i think is super cute), 鹿柴 by wang wei (空山不见人... so true)

anyway i've only dipped into these a little so far but here's some sites in my bookmarks u might find useful!

this anthology site which has some good poet biographies & is generally a good crash course for the key poets/poems in the development of modern chinese poetry as far as i can tell ! the ones i've randomly selected and read have been good :-)
