Ingredients: 2 cups whole wheat flour. 1/2 cup rolled oats. 1/4 cup peanut butter unsalted, no added sugar. 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce. 1/4 cup coconut oil. 1/2 cup grated carrots. 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas. 1/4 cup water.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats. Add the peanut butter, applesauce, coconut oil, grated carrots, mashed bananas, and water to the dry ingredients. Mix all the ingredients until a dough forms. If it's too dry, add a bit more water; if it's too wet, add a little more flour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut out dog bone or other desired shapes. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cookies are golden and firm. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely before serving to your furry friend. Store the dog cookies in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
