What was the bit if you don’t mind me asking?

Fair question. I was trying to explain how to develop a "frenemie-style" working relationship with someone you're in conflict with, which involves straddling the fine line between harassment and doing a bit - the key difference being that "doing a bit" should be repetitive yet absurd/funny enough that the target will at least find it a little funny too. In short, you want their reaction to be like "oh my god" [Bob's Burgers voice] rather than "I will get a restraining order."

So what I was suggesting for the housing rights campaign we're working on, and which the local politicians are not cooperating on, was making little paper houses that just happen to consistently show up at their offices and meeting places and then escalate over time to sending them more and more ridiculous house-themed things. Like oh you didn't notice the several thousand small paper houses we've delivered? Check out this giant cardboard neon one that is now sitting right in front of the courthouse at 7pm when your meeting starts.

I did something similar with teachers in high school who wouldn't email me back about the excessive homework that they gave me during the school day. If they didn't answer my emails, I'd be sure to show up in their classroom before they even got there in the morning so that I'd be sitting in their desk chairs when they arrived. I would then greet them with "GOOD MORNING MR./MRS. ____" and launch into the verbatim question from the email. Took exactly two repeats of that to get my stats teacher to be more responsive to me because he was down to trade answering an email at 2pm for seeing me at 7am before he'd had his coffee.

I just recieved a commission from the wonderful @lycheefreeze , kind of based on my most recent Tron fanfic.
