New experience coming 🧸🧶✨

I never thought about making amigurumi, but Sanrio released a collab with Círculo (a Brazilian brand) and I had to buy it. It's a Hello Kitty amigurumi with three outfit options and the kit comes with everything you need + videos to learn how to make it.

The yellow shirt weren't my first choice, but the one I wanted sold out very quickly. As it's apparently a limited edition, I'm thinking of buying the others too.

Making myself uncomfortable

Trying something new: DM a whole homebrew campaign.

Before: We planned this over a month in advance, and I've only actually worked on it absently. There's a file in my drive that has this whole world. My goal is to have the climactic finale on the Sunday before my surgery, but after some thought, I have decided it's more important to me that I get to play with my friends and do cool stuff.

During: Surgery day feels impending and final. I'm at the halfway mark in sessions, and I'm trying to check all the bozes. After each session, I go through and think about all the ways I screaed up. At yesterday's session? I didn't have fun. I was very clunky with my boss fight. Every Sunday, they all tell me they had fun. I have been repeatedly reminded that my friends are not pretending to like me. Two things I have learned in this process are 1, I hate playing spellcasters, and 2, I wasn't reading character sheets correctly. I am still trying, but it's been suggested that I take the time constraints off myself and just be in the moment.

I created a whole desert island, and I'm running over my players, thinking I'm running out of time.

I'm just going for mediocre, and I don't think I'm even there. I have a little bit of a plan moving forward.

My partner said they would finish the campaign with me if I'm not able to in dire circumstances.
