viperdeer is already such a yummy dynamic but im begging writers to cook more vipergrapes....
im pretty catatonic rn but there is definitely going to be a stark difference between how bsh reacts to being saved by agent grapes and how viper would react in the same situation.
our bsh is someone whose character has already been greatly influenced by kse from the start. he keeps his manipulative tendencies in check (compared to viper). he acts like a puppy bc this is a guy whose experience at his cultist village is still fresh in his mind and a psychopath to keep him on a leash. then being by soleum's side for a good amount of time also exposes him to the idea that saving just about anyone is feasible and not just stupid ideals. then encountering agent grapes early into his daydream career must've truly, truly softened him (as remarked by soleum in the hospital mini arc). kse's presence has left an enormous impact on direction of his life.
then we have doksah. his survival instinct has only been reinforced throughout the journey of climbing the ladder to the post of a section chief.
he is manipulative. he knows that. he is completely at ease with it. he takes great pride in his ability to save himself above all else. yet he hasn't received a wish ticket and thus is still tied to jisan village. that's where a selfless bureau agent whose ethics sickens him to death comes in. a public servant who possesses values so comically heroic it's pitiable. what did that seemingly naive agent do after shattering whatever grim outlook section chief viper has of the world as he knows it? save him again! be kind to him! go on rescuing ppl when he has been stabbed in the back by a citizen in his rookie days! wouldn't that frustrate doksah to no end?
rather than easily yielding to the agent like bsh, would viper express a more fierce hatred towards him? would he take advantage of his power within a corporate as influential as daydream to obsessively keep an eye on the enigmatic, self-sacrificial agent? would he take more drastic actions? would he unironically become 'mr. ceo obsessed with y/n audio' ml?
we have too little information on him to make an accurate assessment of his hypothetical course of action. but just thinking about the volatile emotional catharsis viper would go through is simply delish man.
