16) Confessions: Jack Marshall and his underage wife, or Alec and covering for Tess?
I’m not sure what this question is asking me, I think which one I liked more…? In which case Alec & Tess x 10000000%, I hated the Jack storyline and aside from Tess’s completely baffling motivations I actually quite liked what they ended up doing with Hardy’s tragic backstory because it was a nice break from what I expected. When s1 was airing I remember me & burntlikethesun and various other people taking bets on whether he had a dead kid or a dead wife or both, so it was nice that no one ended up stuffed in a fridge to make him a Sad Cop like… 95% of other Sad Cops on tv.
Plus, I just thought it was funny to the point of endearing that he was punishing himself nearly to death over a mistake that wasn’t even his in the first place. Martyr game too strong.
24) What do you think is next for the Former Detectives?
lol, literally no idea. Obviously, because s3 exists, we know something will draw them back together again, but I don’t know what that will be in the context of the show, since I suspect it’s unlikely it’s something as simple as… like… keeping in touch like reasonable human beings might. Naturally I hope that at some point they realize they are besties and/or in love and they be together like a dysfunctional Brady Bunch.
I do actually read fic! Shocking! I’ve probably read, like, every non-crossover fic on AO3. Who am I.
I’m not sure what my favourite is though. I like all of @curiositykilledtheslug's fics (why won't Tumblr let me @ certain accounts??), I'm always excited when there's a new one. I guess I'll rec Puzzles because I remember just being utterly delighted upon reading it.
