Got a rare burst of energy and organized a lot of my doll stuff in these containers I got from Ross a while back
I remembered I had an extra jewelry organizer and since I have some of my barbie shoes in some of these I thought I’d try the tonner shoes. They fit so well! Granted, I can only fit one pair in each slot but I like it a lot. The guy boots even fit in the larger sections at the bottom.
Crap. All I ended up doing was moving the dolls I already started to organize to another spot! I'm on hold anyway as I'm a bracket short... Thus the lack of dolls on the bottom shelf. But I'll be able to fit all 50 of my MTM dolls plus a select few of my holiday dolls in one place, so yay.
I got this tiered acrylic organizer today.
I'm using it as a riser to maximize the top shelf of the bookcase where I display my dolls.
Now that I know it works, there is a longer one I can get on amazon that should hold three dolls per row.
I need a few more stands but I have a place for everybody.
Shadow high dolls are on a small table at the foot of my bed.
I need to clear off the bottom shelf of the table then I'll have room to spread them out and add the rest.
Ignore Victoria. I put her there until I clear out my series 5 rh shelf.
My next project will be fixing the mess I've made of my barbies and figuring out where to put monster high.
So this morning I finally attached the Dollar Tree organizers to my Rainbow High Clothing storage container with Command Strips I cut down. (Please excuse my messy desk.)
Then I made a template and cut out little paper inserts using my Silhouette to keep the soft plastic shoes away from the hard plastic container.
I used scrapbook paper since it is acid free and I folded them all accordingly and stuck them into place.
I still have to finish cleaning one of the labels off the containers, but I'm very pleased with how this turned out.
