I swear this leasing office takes incompetence to a whole new level every time.
I reported a leak in my bathroom ceiling over a month and a half ago. They kept dismissing me when I followed up to see why no one had come out to look at it.
Finally got fed up yesterday cause it was raining in my bathroom while im trying to get ready for work.
I told them this was an unacceptable living condition and someone needs to come right now or we're gonna have a serious problem.
They tell me, we're so sorry, you're right, someone will come out right away.
I get home yesterday, the power was out, I was tired and I just went to bed without thinking about it.
I got up this morning. There's still a crack in the ceiling and there's no indication that anyone had stepped foot in my unit and done anything.
I call the leasing office again this morning and ask if anyone came to look at the ceiling yesterday.
They dont get back to me until almost four in the afternoon. Instead of answering my question, they ask me if it looks any different.
No it doesn't look any different in here. I ask, did they do outside work to patch the roof.
Leasing agent comes back with maybe. Give us an update if theres still a leak next time it rains.
What the helly? I have many questions.
Did they give maintenance the work order for my apartment or not?
Was someone from maintenance authorized to sign out the key to my apartment or not? They are supposed to have legit reasons to sign your keys out.
If my keys were signed out, they have to be signed back in. Did no one check with the person that signed out my key to ask what the situation was in the apartment, whether they could fix it or not and what work was done?
Do they keep no paper trail? Nothing in writing? No track of what maintenance is doing?
Im sincerely just supposed to wait and see what happens the next time it rains 🤨
