So I didn't post about how spinning all that rainbow wool turned out, because I'm still spinning it, and I did take a break. Things got kinda busy, but also it was pointed out that along with spinning I could also be using my recent adventures with wool to try needle felting, so I used/am using some of the rainbow wool for that now too. FYI needle felting is taking wool and repeatedly stabbing it until it's all fused together in the shape you want. Honestly, I thought a craft where you repeatedly stab something would be really satisfying, but this turned out to be more tedious than I imagined. I opted to work in 1:12 scale and I keep trying to make really detailed things, so maybe I've just over thought the craft. I don't hate it though. I watched a tut on how to use cookie cutters as shape guides, which is how I made the tiny car. And I'm keeping the first doll sized bag I made/decorated, but the other two are posted on Etsy. . . #bykylelefort #needlefelting #tinycar #dollpurses #miniaturepurses #needlefeltedbag #etsyshop #etsy #wool #wooladventures #wnyart #wnyartist #femaleartist https://www.instagram.com/p/CIm-5_WhSEI/?igshid=1er9zxxkmi9ut
