My Opinion on;

Character in general: I know that ele is also one of the characters I’ve known on this blog for the longest time among some others? And I am so glad you are still around and we got to know each otehr :D  Ele is such an AWESOME character, she had this soft melancholy around her and often si such a sad bab but  also shows such grace and beauty and fierceness at the same time?  I really enjoy our threads, even though we both always need an eternity to wrtie that’s okay, I love her reactions to Yun and his messe sup life and friends x,) and he positively sees her as one of his very few close friends.

How they play them:  So good :D  You have a very experienced and developped writing style, managing to describe her inner thoughts along with surroundings and actions and making it all fit together without being boring or repetitive. Ele too, has gone through so much development and had such a huge bunch of story behind her that it is a feast to read along your threads (and, you know jsut as much as I do I ship your ships almost as mch as mine, I’m cheering from the sidelines and actually really miss reading some interactions if you know what I mean XD) getting nostalgic here, lol

The Mun: Goodness, Tosh you’re such a sweet person, and I am so glad to have met you here, I thoroughly enjoy talking to you an rhae and i jsut want to hug you and wish you all the best in life? You’re one of the people that gets it when it comes to just taking rp as it is - a hobby supposed to be fun and boy are you fun to play with and talk to :D  and don’t even get me started on your art, you improved so much over the last years (and to my opinion - you already were good back then, but now??) holy hell, I simply love the way you draw, I’m literally melting every time i stare at one of your pictures (yes stare is the right word, as I cannot take my eyes off it for the next few minutes for sure XD)

1. Which should be saved – a bus full of innocent lives or a loved one?

“Really... really, uh, getting to the extreme there, ain’t even afraid to ask that huh? Yeah alright... the good thing would be to save a lot of people. Save them innocent lives. I’d wanna do that, I know that maybe my loved one would probably want the same. Just, go and save those people don’t worry about me! 

That kind of thing. But, I can’t promise that I would. I kinda want to hold on as long as I can. So I don’t know. I don’t know if I would save a bus full of people. And that’s shitty of me to say, I know it is. And my partner might be angry at me but, you know... Fuck I hate that I said that.”

13. Could you sacrifice yourself for the good of everyone else?

“Yeah.”

18. Have you ever done something morally wrong? If it’s morally wrong do you regret it?

“Nightmares thing is not... the worst I’ve done? I guess. But it’s kinda using them to know some fears of another. It’s how I get to know some guts of a person. I’ve once used it against someone else. I was young, probably angry. 

yeah I regret it, but I think we would have stopped being friends later down the line anyway. That usually happens.

I think the worst thing I did was just, like, breaking my last girlfriend’s heart on purpose. I didn’t want her to get too close, much as I loved it. So I did something shitty. We somehow kept like.. a long distance friendship or something. But, eventually we stopped talking. I wanted that in the end. I regret it a little. But I don’t know how I would be able to hide at that point.”

31. What is more important to you? Being respected and praised by your elders or being looked up to and championed by those younger or of the same age?

“Damn, good question. uh.. fuck. I ain’t the best to be looked up to, I’ll be honest. I have some bad habits and I’m worried of that rubbing off on small folk. Lil tiny babs shouldn’t be following my example. A little praise is cool but I wouldn’t know what I did.So I guess respected. I don’t want praise from them. I don’t know what they would praise me for. But i want some respect to not be bothered. That I wanna stay on this rock called Earth. The respect of me not wanting to deal with the bs that is hard for me to just... imagine sometimes. That’s all I got. 

Basically the respect of space and choice I guess. That’s more important.”

Avilius Caro was the son of Aia Caro and her lover, a Bosmerby the name of Nalion. Theirs was a well-off family, although it took time forNalion to adjust to a life of comfort and fatherhood. Having spent a majorityof his life as a laborer, it was quite a shock. Even so, he came to enjoycaring for his child and home while his wife integrated herself into the worldof merchants and other businessmen in preparation to take over the familybusiness.

Other than rejecting the ‘family calling’ and choosing todedicate the rest of his life to research (it focusing on whatever he fanciedfor the moment, although he took a special interest in biology) Avilius lived afairly normal life. Until he reached his mid-30s, and became the victim of avampire attack. When the ordeal was done, he turned. It wasn’t as devastatingas he imagined it to be – there were questions and at times it was difficult tohide the affliction, but in his mind, he now had more time to spend on hisstudies.

He lived for more than 200 years, and eventually became thefriend, mentor, and sponsor for Jacqueline. He met an untimely and unjustifiedend at the hands of a vampire hunter.

Character Questions: Hard Mode

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

Surprisingly… not all too much. He does keep a wallet on himself and his phone, as well as a small, flat case with some cigarettes and a lighter (both made of metal and engraved) and, if he is not wearing them, a pair of thin gloves is usually somewhere in his pockets along with a handkerchief. Other than that?  Only the seemingly odd charm in form of a small, patchwork goldfish that looks like a child’s first try at sewing and embroidery, it would usually go on a phone but isn’t.

30. What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?

Loud, obnoxious behaviour, or rather - people that behave this way. It’s a rather ugly and repulsing trait of character in his eyes and there has to be a lot of potential in a person to outweight these attributes for him.

On a more literal side, he does not like to get his hands dirty - figuratiely, of course, there is no helping that and he’d be practically drenched in blood concernign the most recent evetns and all of his familie’s history -  but if he gets into the dilemma of having to get the blood on his hands himself? He’d prefer not to, but will not back away from it regardless, with no regard of his repulsion when forced into a  figurative or literal corner. ( kind of explains his like for gloves as well…)

37. Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?

Does one really work without the other? So yes, Kaede very much is concerned with that. Not only is ‘not losing face’ one of his core values, it links right into protecting his personal honor and status as well as the familie’s and his clan’s. Which leads him into quite the dilemma when he now has to balance somehow on the path of trying to save their position and not completely giving up his - and their - personal pride in the process.

40. How does your character treat people in service jobs?

With the same politeness as he does everyone else ( that his initial kindness and calm is mostly a mask doesn’t matter for this). Kaede does not differ between the kind of job somebody does, as long as they do it well. He values hard work and determination - likewise, will treat someone who slacks off or is unfriendly and unprofessional significantly colder, up to the point of lecturing them if he sees himself in the place to do so. Still, he never would be seen screaming and shouting (no matter how much he might rage on the inside, even if that takes a long while), because that would gravely clash with the rules he sets for himself.

6. Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?

I could’ve sworn I’ve answered this one before, but I can’t find it in my asks, so…maybe I didn’t?? Anyways.

Mostly affection. J’hasi was a little weird in comparison to the other kids in the tribe, but kids are curious and accepting generally at that age, so no worries. Some of the adults were a little ehh with him, but Sees put a stop to that fairly early. The first incident of rejection I can think of is when J’hasi first met Shadows, but that’s…sort of a weird thing altogether. During his enslavement, the others in bondage with him were caring towards him and Shadows, and thus J’hasi didn’t have incidents with rejection again until his second master bit it and he was left to the streets to fend for himself.

So…both?

21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?

Answered! TL;DR he’s polite unless you’re rude to him, then fuck you, he likes Robin Hood/Grey Fox -esque heroes, and hates rich people that benefit off the backs of the poor.

So many. Sooo many. Seewul is a bit slow to understand, he’s easily manipulated, he’s easily confused, he’s still somewhat unsure of himself, I could go on.
