Dolphin Tale - Clearwater Marine Aquarium
I highly recommend the movie Dolphin Tale and its sequel Dolphin Tale 2. The original movie is about a lonely boy who discovered a dolphin (Winter) caught in a crab trap and its eventual rescue by the team at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It is a heartwarming story for all ages about hope, love and commitment.

Winter was rescued and treated by the staff of Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter is a permanent resident of the aquarium. Your family can see the star of the movie with a visit to Clearwater! (Photo opportunity is available, sorry she is not able to sign autographs.) As it is the site where the movie Dolphin Tale was filmed, it is an exciting place to visit to see the familiar scenes from the movie. Our family was moved by the devotion of the staff and Winter’s story in the movie which made it a great place to visit a few years ago. The entire family will enjoy seeing Winter and Hope (Dolphin Tale 2) and all of the other rescue animals at the aquarium.
The aquarium is unlike any other aquarium as it is a working aquarium to provide care for sick and injured marine life. It is educational and awe-inspiring at the same time. Our family enjoyed our afternoon at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It brought back many great memories from watching the movie and was very exciting see Winter and Hope up close.
