Picked up this little beauty of a Red a couple of months ago from @collinsquarter great wine list. Hailing from Cheverny, in the Loire Valley, Domaine Philippe Tessier have produced a wonderful blend of Pinot Noir & Gamay varietals into their 2017 Cheverny Rouge. I found the bouquet to be heavy and earthy at first but the actual palate to be quite light and somewhat fruity. Left to breathe for an hour I found it drastically improved. A nice easy drink that goes well with most pairings. Drink at room temperature. should also mention this is classed as an organic wine.
