Edissa: D/s verse
As Edward's driver pulled into the driveway. He demande the car pasued until the iron gates closed behind them, since Marissa's attack, Edward's paranoia had increased ten fold. A brand new gate had been fitted that reached new heights with cameras hidden at the bolts, a new guard had been hired to replaced the feeble excuse he had previously. The guard, Sam, didn't work a full twenty four hours, he only came to the home if Marissa was there. As much as Edward hated lying to his sub, the need for her protection was to big to ignore and Sam lingered in the distance whenever she chose to leave the house. Edward planned on telling her at some point, just not right now.
Nodding his thanks to the driver as he stepped out of the car, smoothing down his jacket out of pure habit. The fabric was expensive and any crease would stick out like a roman candle in Edward's eyes. Edward pulled out the numerous bags filled with crafting equipment and entered his home where he was greeted by his house maid Marie, scotch in hand like he always did and she explained that his lunch was nearly finished. "Marissa?" he called out while placing the bags down on the small phone table and shrugged off his jacket, draping it neatly over the back of the chair at the table.
