And yet, to me, Cardinal Copia reminds me way too much of the young Domenico Modugno. Yeah, I know Tobias has always said he was inspired by Vincent Price, Dracula and Jacques Clouseau and he’s absolutely right, of course… but, what can I say: I’m absolutely convinced there’s a lot of “Mr. Volare” in his jaunty little mustache, too. Who knows, maybe after the tragic accident he’ll get his baby-faced look back, mustache and all!

At the first ever Grammy Awards in 1958 Domenico Modugno's Eurovision entry "Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu (Volare)" took home the first ever awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
In both categories, Modugno beat out artists including Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee.
