I've seen visual novels unexpectedly swerve into famously beginner-hostile genres like top-down shoot-'em-ups, and I've seen precision puzzle platformers swerve into visual novels, but I've never seen a visual novel swerve into a precision puzzle platformer, which feels like a conspicuous omission.
