Trying to convince this lil baby cat he can sleep in the bedroom with us by slowly relocating his designated cozy spot closer to the bedroom. He’ll lay on it in the closet, but only if I sit there with him. After I get into bed he just moves into the hallway and watches me sleep. Baby steps with a lil baby cat

My mum tried to domesticate me like my great aunt domesticates her cats. She straightend my hair, clipped my nails, made the dentist file my teeth. She got angry when I walked on all fours, running in the corridor, or went foraging and hunting and climbing. My canines would itch and my mind would scatter, but she got rid of my soft fur at nine and soon enough I forgot how to sing and scream and run.

Now I'm free and I know that as soon as I'll feed from her hand again I'll be lost

Apparently Ethiopian Baboons are starting to domesticate wolves, which is giving scientists new insights about what it might have been like when early humans did that. That's cool, pretty cool!

"Not quite as cool as we thought!" scream scientists, as baboons riding wolves come pouring out of the forest.

Hello everyone! I have something important I need spread around! These cuties are Dash (tabby) and Violet (solid black)! They are cute little siblings who lost their feral momma and are now being raised by me! I’m slowly teaching them people are ok, and when the TNR bus comes in town these little guys are going to get spayed/neutered. Once domesticated I hope to continue to foster these little ones till I find them good homes! If there is anyone interested please pm me about them! I’ll keep everyone updated on their domestication progress as well! So far, Dash is the one making the most progress! Violet is very timid in nature so she needs more love before I might see more progress with her.
