Domestic EVA benchmark records mild weekly rise
EVA trading in the domestic polymer market recorded a modest increase this week as the benchmark moved higher compared with the previous reporting period. The change reflects a gradual adjustment rather than a sharp movement.
Indian EVA prices were assessed at Rs 128/kg this week, rising from Rs 124/kg recorded seven days earlier. Over the broader domestic trading corridor, the polymer has moved between approximately Rs 119/kg and Rs 134/kg. Indian EVA prices therefore remain positioned inside this established range despite the latest weekly increase.
Earlier sessions in the period showed relatively steady trading conditions where day-to-day movements remained small. The latest adjustment therefore represents a controlled upward shift within the domestic corridor rather than a break beyond the range. Procurement desks tracking EVA prices in India continue to monitor the benchmark as they evaluate purchase timing within this structure.
The broader domestic market still reflects organised price behaviour with movement occurring inside clearly defined range markers, EVA, EVA Prices, Weekly Rise, Domestic Benchmark, Polymer Market, Petrochemicals, Price Trend.
