Were the gods laughing at her? That was the question that came to her mind as she learned Gaius had been summoned to Chaldea as well. Not only was Nero taking her time, taking care of and teaching her child was tough after all the years, but now her brother was there also. Certainly this was but another cruel trick of the gods. They had not left in good terms, with her failed assassination attempt leaving her exiled being the last time she had seen him before his death. Staring at Gaius with her fists clenched, Agrippina was unsure. 

“Gaius...” Unsure how to talk to him, how to react to him, how to even stay in the same space with him. The man, his brother, had lost his mind after their sister died and could not even reign Rome anymore. Despite everything that had happened between them, he was still her family whom she cared for. Her nails digging into her palms, she suppressed all urges to touch him.
