Taking Duke for long walks together whenever you get the chance, Luca loves strolling around the neighbourhood. You can’t go two minutes without stopping to stay hi to someone. It reminds you how much people are in the heart of everything he does.
Making a map of every single food truck in LA and grading them with the ranking system that only the two of you know.
He makes sure to carve out time in his day for you, even if it just means sending a text to check in. Due to the nature of his job, scheduling dates is unpredictable. Sometimes your dates come in the form of a quick bite at your favourite food truck, coffee on a bench outside or a quiet moment by the fountain. He likes being outside with you, breathing in the air and taking a moment just for the two of you.
You adore the way he smells, it’s the scent of sea air clinging to his skin after a morning of surfing, gun oil and the undercurrent of citrus from his shower gel.
Luca thrives on touch. He’s not a massive fan of PDA but when your out together he shows he cares through small touches such as a hand on your lower back, a gentle touch on the arm. Even slinging an arm around your shoulders and a kiss on the forehead.
In private Luca is constantly touching you, he threads his fingers through your hair when he kisses you, drawing you into his lap. He loves being close to you, feeling your body against his. so I totally understand pushing for ships - I do too - but in my experience defintely let them know you want the ship but then lean back. I’ve seen pushing for a ship and writers pulling 180s the wrong way - like ChicagoPD/Med or Night Shift. so find a middle is my PSA today :)
