Although many people are stuck at home, spring marches on, and you can find several simple projects in this issue to keep you busy, or to give you plans and hopes for the future. I put the fabric paints first as they were so cheery. Katie Kortman explains the ins and outs of painting fabric, but I must caution you to choose a small project as painting every inch of a large-scale yardage by hand would be numbing work after a while.
Then, there are several patterns which you will find online, including a tropical romper by Don Morin. He explains how to make sure you have enough ease from top to bottom, so you can move comfortably, and then how to put it all together. There is also a beach dress pattern to download which ties at the shoulder by Kimberly Payne if you are looking for any even simpler project. There are other projects including the simple poncho on the cover, several bags, and a technical article on the bias cut by Pamela Howard, if you are feeling more ambitious.
