how deep would color drown in his own thoughts when utterly alone in the void?

It's technically like his reality, going through what happened, rewind and repeat and what if and what if not and different branches and scenarios until it became a blur that he becomes scared of losing what he actually remembers.

But he had an anchor and starts repeating that song over and over until he gets a grip over the sanity he almost lost.

Then spirals back to think of what happened, rewind and repeat... etc.

But sleep helps pausing these thoughts.
