do they have a lot of arguments? if so, over what?
they hv performative mini fights abt silly things like what cereal to get but uh. an actual argument would require there to b equal participation from both parties and its mostly just light hissing all of misa’s imagined slights while she sits sullenly on the couch, only responding with comments abt how light’s being mean. it only ever happens bc light is so sick-bored that he’s starting fights with anybody who he thinks will respond in order to occupy himself.
who apologizes first? in what way? is it hard for either of them to apologize?
misa apologizes for, idk, whatever thing she did like getting mad at the checkout girl for smiling at light or shop-lifting a lip gloss and then light fake-apologizes for yelling like “i’m sorry that you felt sad.” misa accepts this and likes to think she’s the only person light apologizes to, which is sort of true? she’s the only one he makes the effort to even fake-apologize to you. most ppl he just sort of leaves it be.
is there something big that could potentially tear them apart if it was revealed?
there’s not a lot that would tear misa from light and, on the other side of the spectrum, light is just looking for a reason to kill misa so. uh. there’s not rlly any bombshells that r gonna change their dynamic.
is it hard for them to talk about their feelings openly with each other? if so, is there any way that can be resolved, even in the slightest?
they don’t talk abt their deep feelings. misa is very good at talking abt her surface level feelings like “i’m sad! i’m mad! i’m happy! i love you!” while underneath she’s hving some more confused thoughts abt what light is becoming, what he’s doing to her and what she sees in her future all of which she does NOT talk to light abt. light has only ever talked abt how he feels honestly with ryuk and no one else. things are only resolved when light says they are.
