As the new year begins, Gaza remains a place of both pain and hope.
My children(Yousef&Nour), despite the war, hunger, and displacement, carry innocent dreams that touch the heart.
My children dream of things that may seem ordinary but mean the world to them:
*Returning to their destroyed homes instead of living in tents that provide little protection from the cold and heat.
*A life free from collecting firewood to cook and standing in long lines to fetch water.
*The chance to play freely in clean and safe spaces, away from the sounds of bombs and the smell of smoke.
*Access to clean food, safe water, and schools that restore their lost sense of childhood.
