I fell asleep thinking about T&O....and i had an awesome dream.....and its giving me ideas....
Remember that idea I had a while ago about giving Noa a toxic sapphic relationship? No? Yeah, fair, I didn't bring it back up for a while. Anyways
In my dream Noa was with Kokoro! Kokoro, the living weapon! She was originally gonna be from Houbi and be the guard dog of someone from the court that would make an appearence back at Totsuka's arc but I really like the idea of she being Noa's guard and servant instead (a hooray for power imbalance!)
Totsuka wasn't captured in the dream for some reason
Ola was, however, and they kept putting him in stress positions and just making him miserable and he was also especially assigned to serve Noa as well so he saw Kokoro a lot
The other servants at the estate didn't have it as nearly as bad as him XD I think he was Getting It because the gang had been causing trouble for Donatello. I really liked the idea of them being already onto Donatello for some reason and then they were captured so I'm using that
Also after he was rescued Totsuka and him went to invade the estate for some reason
So. To wrap it up. I really gotta revisit how tf this whump arc is gonna go and also Kokoro + Noa (whumperee + carewumper) toxic yuri YAY
(To reiterate: Donatello is the whumper of the captivity arc i conceptualized some months ago and Noa is his daughter who plays the role of the carewhumper. I wasn't really sure about how she was as a person so I was considering making her a child so her thought process and actions would make more sense—wanting to help and comfort her father's captives but still not doing anything to like, free them or prevent Donatello from harming them, which would make more sense for a naive and obedient child with the heart in the right place—BUT now. Toxic yuri)

I'm not really deep into writing it properly ;) but I wrote a few drabbles a while ago and everytime i go back to them there is one that is simply my favorite:

Megan was panting, in way too much pain to even move. His limbs were a limp mess below him, and he couldn’t even tell in what position he was in. His vision was blurred and all he could see were mixed up images and colors that danced in front of his eyes. He had given up on trying to make sense of them.
He heard footsteps. Someone was arriving. He should get up, he should run, he should hide--
He could only manage to let a whimper come out of his mouth.
Donatello kneeled in front of him.
“Oh, you poor thing”, his mocking voice infuriated Megan. “Are you in pain?”
Between rasped breaths, he managed to shout “go fuck yourself.”
Donatello smiled, his fangs sharp enough to make Megan shiver. Not one second after, agony replaced everyhting in his body and he felt like throwing up. He moved his hand to his mouth. Megan was surprised to see that he still had it on him to scream anymore.
“I think I’d be more polite if I was you”, he heard Donatello say. “You’re kind of depending on me here. And your friend on the other room is already on the limit, you know?” He grinned. “But I mean,” he laughed. “You probably noticed that.”
If Megan had the forces to, he’d spit on him.
“H-how… How, dare you--”, he coughed, his chest hurting with every breath. “T-totsuka--she…”
Donatello just waited for him to finish, patiently. Megan couldn’t continue, despiste his best efforts. He was already using all he had in him not to pass out.
He knew why he was in pain, even if his body had not a bruise on it. Well, not actually not a bruise, but a few cuts and scratches weren’t responsible for that freaking purgatory that made him feel like shit. It was Totsuka.
He was feeling her pain.
Benedict Donatello, the stupid vampire who had captured them, knew that. He spared efforts and made the bare minimum to hurt them both.
Just torturing one.
The mere echo of whatever the vampire was doing to his partner had Megan on his knees in an instant, and after some hours, drooling helpless on the floor. He could barely talk, or think, and having his eyes opening for too long made him feel like he could die.
Megan knew it was stupid, but he wished Totsuka was okay. But by Donatello’s words, he knew not to hope much.
“Well”, his torturer slowly got on his feet, his pale dark skin shining with the white lights of the room. “I’ll pay a visit to her, and maybe, when I’m back, we can talk like reasonable men, yes?”
Megan flinched.
No.
“A visit”.
That meant hurting Totsuka more.
Megan wanted to protest, but he could only cry out something in the tone of an offense.
Donatello laughed. He left the room and let the door open.
Megan tried getting up. Maybe… maybe if he could just reach Tot…
His arms couldn’t lift his weight long enough for him to sit up, and he fell on the hard white floor again.
But he couldn’t stop trying… he--
A blood-boiling scream cut the uneasy silence, and when the friction of the air hurt his throat Megan noticed it was coming from his mouth. The pain went away as fast as it had come, and it had him trying to curl around himself, trying to ease something, but there was nothing he could do.
He felt an itch on the back of his conscience, and he knew Totsuka had blacked out.
Tears streamed through his face, making him use all of his forces to keep himself from crying out loud.
He’d punch the wall if he could.
What had they got themselves into?
Benedict Donatello was quite proud of his new aqquaintances.
Two kids, whom he first thought to be a pair of girls, but were a boy and a girl, powerful magicians, with silly screams and that were bonded to each other.
Incapacitating them was easy. He’d only had to order his servants to restrain one them, and with one knife and one strike, he had both on their knees. Two for the price of one! A perfect affair, he’d say.
He hummed a random lullaby as he walked through the corridors to the room he’d let the black-haired one in. The door wasn’t even closed, nor was he restrained in any way, but the boy was a limp doll on the floor.
Benedict lowered himself to his level and manhandled him to sit. A light whimper came out of his body, but he doubted the boy was even aware of what was happening at this point. His dark eyes were glassy and unfocused. He was quite pretty, Benedict thought.
Background: Boy who couldn’t learn magic because he got a magical condition (nobody wanted to teach him), so when a traveler came to his town looking for a partner, he offered himself in exchange for learning magic with her. Human.
Role: Protagonist
Main traits: Skeptical, pragmatic, emotional, loyal
*Notes: He's a crybaby but he doesn't like to show that. Also the picrew is not 100% but it is something like this. I'm also still deciding what his magic condition is. He was previously named "Megan" and after that, "Jandir", but I uh. Changed it. Ola is currently being redesigned so I removed his picrew.
Totsuka

Background: Powerful magician that travels around the continent on her own. She recruited Ola to be her partner, and he agreed in exchange for being taught magic by her. Hybrid of human and unknown species.

*Notes: Has a giant cat and hates horses. Why? Unfortunately I don't know. Also fun fact: Her design was loosely inspired by Tokito from Demon Slayer. Her name is also written as 戸塚
Izabella Noa
Basic info: Iz (she/her)
Background: Daughter of a very rich corporate. Vampire.
Role: Supporting character
Main traits: Sweet, plain, loyal
*Notes: She's not very fleshed out.
Benedict Donatello
Basic info: Donatello (he/him)
Background: Very rich corporate. Vampire
Role: Minor antagonist
Main traits: Lightmooded, charismatic, cruel
*Notes: He's a very cool guy actually, if your forget The Horrors lmao.
Wen Ming
Basic info: Hua Wen Ming (she/they)
Background: From a small country that was destroyed in a military campaign and now works to defeat said military campaign before it destroys more people’s homes along with a team of vigilante rebels.
Role: Main character
Main traits: Graceful, gentle, logic
*Notes: Totsuka future gf. Shhhh don't tell her yet. Her name was also previously Quenya but her country is inspired in Ancient China and I can't figure out how to write that in chinese so instead her name is now Hua Wen Ming. It is written like that: 华雯明.
Chara
Basic info: Chara (he/him)
Background: A very tragic backstory I cannot remember, so I will have to ask my brother. Something like this: Orphan, taught himself to be an assassin a la Vinland Saga, got betrayed by his “friends” and after many years ended up joining the group that is against the military campaign.
Role: Main character
Main traits: Responsible, strong sense of justice, overall tired
*Notes: A little older than the rest of the team. You pronounce his name like "shara".
note: i still have a lot to figure out in this story like the races, the magic system and the plot. So I'm not very sure of what I'm doing here. This story is co-written with my brother. It's not very cohese. This was also previously named "totsuka and megan" so you can find old posts about it on the '#t&m wip' tag, and after that, "totsuka and jandir" so you can also find stuff in #t&j wip
I'm gonna pick a part of that idea from my dream (the brands part). I was thinking on giving each race their own little curse :D (lmao) and also something literally sacred that they had to follow. For fae it's be deals. For sirens it'd be secrets. For humans, I don't reallt know yet and for vampires, why, it would be brands.
So I guess I want Noa and Donatello to be vampires.

13 - for whumper (Benedict)
He thinks for a second. "Oh, yes. It's a handy toll for someone in my position, you know?" He laughs. "Let me see, the difference?" His mind seems to wonder and there's a smile in his lips. "It's much easier, I'd say. It's like having two by the price of just one. I don't even need to hurt him. Just grab his friend and he'll comply just like a good boy."
35 - for whumpee (Megan)
"Of course I would. But", he closes his eyes shut and shooks his head. "Not if I didn't have Totsuka. We're getting out together."
When they get captured, Totsuka is trying to fight her way out of the situation when they get caught, and Megan was trying to defend himself and Totsuka.
Once they are held captive, Totsuka is making escape plans, Megan is trying to figure out things from inside.
Once their place is stabilished, Totsuka starts obeying out of fear (it's how her flight response manifests; by avoiding pain avoiding punishment) and Megan is trying to adapt himself to the new environment and now he starts thinking on escaping.
When they get separated, Totsuka takes her rewards and tries to be good enough to earn at least knowing if Megan is okay. Megan tries to convince Donatello that they should be together, but Donatello ignores him and then starts punishing him when he gets too annoying. With time, Megan starts using the same approach as Totsuka.
When they got captured and started being conditioned, Donatello's child, Izabella got interested in them. She took pity in Megan and started demanding to see him. She liked to spend time with either him or Totsuka, and she treats them as her pets or friends, depending on the situation. She spends the more time with Megan, and only 'borrows' Totsuka sometimes. Megan started looking foward to being able to be with Lady Iz, because it's the only time when he can relax.
Overall, Megan is just trying to keep up and Totsuka is trying to figure out everything so they can A. Get information, and B. Get out of here..
They dinamic is like, Donatello gives Megan an assignement and he will do his best to obey, he will give Tot an assignement and she will use the opportunity to make things worse for him, either gathering information or sabotagin things secretly. Noa asks to see Megan, and they have a tea party or do nice things.
Totsuka's headspace is calmer. She as a Whumpee is hard to break. Because you never know, but she has a lot of things under control.
Megan is easier to break. He is less reliable for Donatello than Totsuka, but he is more obedient.
Despiste that, I'm having such a hard time figuring him out in this arc AAAAAAAAAA
