@Regrann from @feralrfamilies2 - I know this is a weird thing to post, but I feel like I should post this. These pics show some of the leg marks I've gotten from trying to tame the cats. They are all permanent marks that will remind me that I can prove some of those people wrong that feral cats can't be tamed. These cats just need to learn to trust--they just need to know that they are loved and that the people surrounding them actually care about them. It is their natural instinct to protect themselves from harm and because they weren't born in an environment where they were easily loved and protected, they have to protect themselves. Now, I am not saying that it's possible to tame all these feral cats. I can at least say that with dedication and time, most, if not all of them, no longer have to hide when I'm around. I will never forget a conversation I've had with a humane society person that told me that they will only accept "beautiful" and adoptable looking cats.
