I am so tired of doing everything right and nothing changing. Over life, over it all.
((This just in, I'm 90% sure I'm a light weight shewt.))
Oh november its only been about a week and youve already disappointed me tremendously thanks
(I FINISHED YAYA OKAY HERE)
One day, there was a 12 year old girl, named Chara. She always had the best grades in her 4th grade class, and she always got A’s in every test she took. But she was also, really nosy. Heck, if there was trouble going on behind her, she didn’t even have to turn around to know. It was like she had eyes in the back of her head!
In class, the teacher called on a few kids to answer a math question.
“What’s 9 times 10?” The teacher asked, eyeing them. The kids chuckled a bit before turning to the teacher, realizing they were called on.
“Oh...um. 210?” They replied, a bit confused. The teacher shook her head, sighing.
“That is incorrect.” The teacher raised an eyebrow at them, and then asked the class the question. “What is 9 times 10 kids?” She asked, looking at them all with a glare. The kids whispered upon themselves, trying to find the answer. Chara already knew the answer, so she raised her hand. The teacher called on Chara. “Yes, Chara?”
“It’s 90.” Remarked Chara, grinning so wide that the grin stretched up to her ears! The whispering among the kids stopped as they turned to stare at Chara, then at the teacher.
“That’s correct! Good job Chara.” The teacher smiled, writing it on the board. The kids groaned. Chara was always right, never once has she gotten anything wrong. Her whole life had been planned out right before her eyes. The whispering started again, and Chara listened in to hear.
“Hey guys, I bet Chara couldn’t climb up Mount Ebott!” Said one kid, grinning. Another kid scoffed.
“That is ridiculous, of course she couldn’t climb up Mount Ebott. Heck, I don’t think any of us could!” Remarked another kid, crossing his arms. Chara raised an eyebrow at that conversation. Could she really climb up a mountain? Well, she was set on it to try! After school, Chara was dead set on climbing up a mountain. It seemed like an impossible thing for a 12 year old, but she thought she could do it. Her best friend, Gedan was trying to convince her to not do it.
“Chara, that is unbelievable. You would actually do that, to just prove a point?” Asked Gedan, as it was unbelievable.
“Hey, yes. I would do anything to prove I’m the best.” She grinned. Chara was kind of the cocky kind.
“Are you serious? What makes you think you can climb Mount Ebott?!” Cried Gedan, trying to convince Chara to not go through with it.
“I just know I can. I know my dad probably has the right equipment for it, I just need to ask him for it.” She smiled, and started walking off to her mom’s car.
“She is hopeless.” Gedan remarked, sighing, as Chara’s car drove off.
Chara was practically jumping in her seat when her mom neared their house. “Chara, are you okay? You seem more excited than usual.” Her mom raised an eyebrow.
“Oh yes! I’m really excited, because I’m going to climb a mountain!” She cried, smiling widely. Her mom was parking into their garage, but when she heard that, their car stopped abruptly.
“What?! Oh, no no no. You are not going to climb a mountain. YOU’RE 16.” Her mom cried. Chara shook her head.
“Hey, 16 and a half.” She remarked, smiling. Her mom sighed. “You know what? Fine, do it. Don’t come crying to us for help when you reach the top.” Her mom said, getting out of the car.
Chara got out of the car as well, very giddy. But instead of asking her dad for the equipment like she said, she instead just took it anyway, and set off, knowing her mom would talk about this with her dad.
She got on her bicycle, (which had training wheels) and set off for MT. Ebott. The Mountain was infamous really, because people always climbed up there all the time, and never came back. Chara didn’t really know what the buzz was about. Maybe people just dropped their equipment and got stuck, or maybe made a living a there.
By the time she finished thinking about why the people disappeared, she was already at the foot of MT. Ebott. She dismounted her bicycle, and started sweating. She was at the foot of the mountain, raising an eyebrow. She could imagine it now. All the kids in her school cheering her, and someone giving her a trophy for climbing up MT. Ebott. She then proceeded to climb up the mountain, grunting. Her determination was off the charts.
After a while, she managed to get to the top. The view was beautiful. By the time she got up there, it was sunset. She sighed, smiling. But then, she thought about how she could get down. Her mountain equipment had been cracked from an icicle, and her hands were callused. She was at the verge of crying. Chara shrugged. “I-I’ll just sleep, and think about it tomorrow.’ She sat on the ground, her smile clearly not there anymore.
The next morning, she woke up, and yawned. The air was crisp, and she was determined to get down. But then, after again realizing the situation she was in, she started crying, her determination clearly not there anymore. She cried so much, the tears leaked down from the mountain and seeped into the ground, creating the five great Lakes. Lake Ontario, Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, Lake Haron, and Lake Erie. As for Chara? Well, she actually got to get down. A helicopter went to the top, and got her down. What happened in school, wasn’t really what she expected. She didn’t get a trophy. She didn’t get cheers.
But instead, she got love, and support. After all that, things never really were the same.
watching the arsenal game with no wifi, bad internet connection, and having the game freeze every 5 seconds made it a very long first half
always interested in someone, never has someone interested in me
I need to stop building people up to something that they'll never be. I always put my hopes up just to be disappointed over and over again.
