I came across this electric car at Suntec City Mall which I must say possesses the worst name of any vehicle I've seen.....the Dongfeng....BOX. Who on earth is going to buy a "box". These Chinese automobile developers really need to contact an English language professional for naming ideas.

P.S. By the way you don't need a huge capital, a Tesla or expensive diesel vehicle to commute and travel...! It is more affordable than diesel or gasoline ICE VW Golf VIII

Lai gan elektromobiļa nosaukums tulkojumā no angļu valodas nozīmē "kaste", par nesmuku kasti to vis nenosauksi. Mazajam ķīnietim ir plastisks, samērīgs dizains dažādās krāsās. Citviet pasaulē šo automašīnu pazīst kā Nammi Box. Ķīnas autoražotāji ar vieglu roku izveido arvien jaunus apakšzīmolus vai ikkatrai jaunai modeļu līnijai un reģionam. Dongfeng Box ir tikai 4 metrus garš, taču tam ir četras durvis un tikpat daudz pilnvērtīgu sēdvietu. Stories about cheap Chinese electric cars flooding the market have so far only come true in our region with the GWM Ora. However, a new player from the PRC - Dongfeng Motor Company - has just entered the Latvian market. It is ready to offer the Box electric car for less than 20,000 euros. Although the name of the electric car translates from English as "box", you wouldn't call it an ugly box. The little Chinese has a plastic, proportional design in different colors. Elsewhere in the world, this car is known as the Nammi Box. Chinese automakers create new sub-brands with a light hand, or for each new model line and region. The Dongfeng Box is only 4 meters long, but it has four doors and the same number of full seats. Even in the best configuration, the rear seatback folds down in one piece, and the rear window does not have a wiper. The trunk turns out to be unexpectedly empty. This suggests that the battery is not that big either. It is so. The running battery capacity is 32 or 42 kilowatt hours. The largest is enough for 300 kilometers. There is no heat pump Box. Since a heat pump is not always available even for larger electric crossovers, a small city electric car can do without one.

P.S. The electric model Dongfeng Box is even more affordable than many ICE vehicles in this class of car models. It's definitely cheaper than a new VW Golf with a petrol engine...
